Pulliam Says Goodbye to a A Good Friend
Pulliam Superintendent Kevin Baker passed away Sunday, April 7, 2002. Kevin was an integral part of the Pulliam team from his hire at the beginning of 2000. With over 20 years in the pool business, Kevin's experience spanned virtually all aspects of the building process. His favorite part of his job was watching a yard at the beginning of a project transform into a beautiful backyard vacation spot at the end. In addition to the time he spent at Pulliam, Kevin was also a father, husband, student, and volunteer firefighter. Kevin enjoyed singing Merle Haggard tunes at his favorite karaoke bar, water skiing, scuba diving, hunting, and fishing. Kevin suffered a fatal heart attack while on call with the Joshua Volunteer Fire Department. Although he had been with the department only a month, Kevin had the respect and friendship of many. We will miss his attention to detail, quick wit, and quality customer service, but we will miss his friendship most.
