| Pulliam Pools,
a Fort Worth swimming pool service and supply store, has been selected
as one of the top 100 businesses in the spa and pool industry from across
the United States.
"This award reflects what we have been trying to accomplish in emphasizing customer service and satisfaction," said Pulliam President Barry Pulliam, a third-generation member of the pool-building family. The family-owned firm, the continuation of a construction business founded in 1916 by brothers Theodore Cresswell Pulliam and Frank L. "Pop" Pulliam, has been at 2221 8th Ave. for more than 57 years, the company said. |
Pulliam was
chosen from thousands of U.S. pool companies for the AQUA 100 program,
which recognizes excellence in the swimming pool industry.
The company built and remodeled more than 200 pools in 1993. Officials plan to expand the business this month. The company will celebrate its 78th business anniversary and the AQUA 100 award at a small gathering for employees and friends this month. - Martha Deller |
